It is a reality that more and more frequently we access the Internet from mobile devices.
To the companies it supposes new opportunities to them: to have of a whole network of distribution and use of enterprise information to low cost as well as, to position the image of our company; and, also, new challenges: we must offer the appropriate information adapted to the device used by those who seek us, before our competitors.
But devices there are many, diverse operating systems and constantly evolving. How to approach so much variety in an optimal way and that is economically viable?
IDiA created a working group on mobility with important Aragonese companies and based on the experience of the Multichannel project developed by AST, and with the collaboration of Keensoft and Hiberus, we have developed a framework that allows the creation of distributions adapted to practically all models mobile market, from a single HTML5 source program.
In the framework of the project we have created a module, called DataOnOff, that allows the use of applications without internet connection, synchronizing data when possible and convenient. This project, developed as free software, has received support from the General Directorate of New Technologies of the Government of Aragon.
