The 2nd Congress of Innovation, Technology and Digital Transformation TICBOX, held in eTOPIA_ had a significant increase in attendees and exhibitors, closing the edition with an interesting TICBOX Awards 2018.

The winners of the first three TICBOX 2018 Awards

Idiogram, founded in December 2014 and specialized in the provision of advanced Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics services, won the Ibercaja Prize for the entrepreneurial company in the digital economy.

The “Welding Wizard” project developed by Opel won the award for the best innovative ICT project. Its mission has been to create a predictive analytical application for the welding process, improving its quality and efficiency. The development carried out has been implemented in seven factories of Opel / Vauxhall, first as proof of concept and currently as a productive project, connecting up to now more than two thousand welding controllers.

The award for the best ICT collaborative project went to Alliance Healthcare, which developed Fedicom 3.0 in collaboration with Fedifar, the Federation of Pharmaceutical Distributors. Its objective has been the optimization of pharmaceutical distribution processes, counting on all the associates of the federation. The team, which has combined professionals from WBA Digital and Alliance Healthcare Spain, has created a unique communication protocol between pharmacies and distributors, using the most recent, scalable, flexible and independent platform technologies.

We finished this edition with the award of the award to the ICT career path to Helmut Karl Hampp, who recently left his position as CIO (Chief Information Officer) of BSH, where he came to have executive responsibility over ICT equipment from 13 countries. Currently, Helmut is president of the Advisory Council of IDiA.
